Acrylic Album

Well yesterday I completed my first ever acrylic album. I loved it and had so much fun.

You really have to think about what you are putting on your page, whats going behind, etc. Lots of planning required! This is a really good artistic exercise if you are looking to set yourself a little challenge.

I also learnt that coloured Stayzon looks dreadful on Acrylic!! Away went the stamps and out came the rub ons which work too well. I layered up most of the rub ons and they looked brill even in reverse!.

I bought a 6 x 6 album with six pages. I used thick acrylic for front and back pages and used thinner acetate in the middle as I knew I wanted to use lots of dimensional embellishments. This means I get three books for the price of one as well!

Well here it is, self portrait - all about me! Ever wondered what I might look like with brunette hair? Well here we go. Didnt keep this colour for very long as even though it was permanent it used to come off on the collars of my shirts! Uuugghhhh!
