I love the whole evolution thing with scrapping. Get a design idea in your head, twist it, tweak it, evolve it and make it! Inspired by many many books, magazines and articles I have read.
At my last Crop I was moaning that I had no photos, and the lovely Eileen let me have two of her photos. One of her and one of her daughter. I am honoured and thank you!
I knew I wanted to include stud work using Brads to create a photo corner and the rest kind of evolved from there. An idea I had seen.
This is the first LO that I have done that I have ever used antique ephemera on as well
I created a tag made from text from a french reading book and another from sheet music from the 1900's that I stamped Yee Haw (!). I used a piece of antique tape measure and some hook and eyes still on the packaging from the 1950's. I added brocade to a star I cut from my Cricut, lined it with a gold pen and added brass brads to make it look like a Sheriffs badge! All this antique stuff has been sourced from fairs and sales and I have been hoarding it for a while for the right sort of project.
So there we go, for Eileen and I hope you like it. x
