I used the free embellishments of last months Scrapbook Inspirations for these cards.
I also used some really old K and Co paper that I love so much - I cant bear to part with it. It's a scarp Pad To Go by Brenda Walton - Citrus Neopolitan. (Like comfort food but its comfort stash!)
I created these four cards based on the Di Hickman sketch. DT teamie Cheryl creates for Di and from her blog I often wander over and have a peek.
Also, I used for the first time my Cuttlebug embossing plates. I have a Big Shot rather than a bug and was a little dubious as to whether they would work. I'm glad they did as I dont think even I can sneak in another machine to the house with the old chesntut "I've had it ages, honestly!"
I used the sandwich plate with the cutting mats and it worked fine. I really like the effect you get from sanding down the raised areas.
