Well I have started and finished MIL's banner.
The fairies were in packs of two from Tescos - I think she said they were £1 each (bargain!).
I took the silver stringing thread off them and used some baby pink organza ribbon to thread them on to. I put a small glue dot behind each head and then carefully in white cotton stitched on each wing for support so the fairies do not attempt to fly away.
The start and end turns were made using flowers and bling brads.
The little flowers in between fairies are Prima with Swarovski (sp?) crystals in the middle. again I sewed these on to the organza.
I hope she likes it! OH is taking it round for her tomorrow.
