Glittery bird

Today I mostly discovered it's not so easy to create a glittery bird!

I want it for a LO with a tree that I want to do basaed on a snippet of an advert from the Stamping Bug in Canada.

Well first I tried Copydex - did'nt work. Then I tried Diamond Glaze, it spilled everywhere. So I had to tip off the excess and leave it to dry - its been doing so all day and still is not set yet! I think Imay have to file it back into shape before I use it as well.

Next I tried clear embossing ink and silver tinsel embossing powder - easier but still not the look I'm going for.

Who would have thought this would be so difficult!! I think I will use the purple one when it eventually dries. if anyone knows an easy way of doing this - please leave me a comment!!!
