I tried this faux ribbon ink trick today. I don't think this one is for me!
I used masking tape to create a band on a plainw hite card and then rubbed pigment ink direct on to the card. i set this using a heat gun.
Next I used my Papertrey stamps to create a border and lines inside all in dofferent tones of blue.
I clear embossed all these lines to make them glisten.
As I say, I am not too enamoured with this effect, it requires lines that need to be perfectly strait and I just don't have it in me!!!
I used buttons from my jar and large flower from a previous Gogo kit. I used my Woodware circle scallop punch and DCWV card run through my Cricut to get a perfect circle.
