Second Lo of the day...Renaissance

Good job it is almost Christmas because two LO's in one day at the moment qualifies as a miracle of sorts in this household!!

This I made from the Jenni Bowlin September kit - thought I had better crack it open as I drown under the stash!! (i have been considering a stash diet - dosent sound very pleasant though does it?!)

Also this LO includes the Maya Road bird. I covered it in Diamond Glaze and then glitter - trouble is it is already malting so I guess I need to perfect that technique!! Purple tinsel embossing powder is the way of the future!!

A few posts ago I said I was doing the bird as I caught a snippet of a blue glitter bird in a tree for an advert for The Scrapping Bug. Well I have taken that snippet, turned it into a LO and morphed it into something all of my own. (I wonder what they did with theirs???)

Renaissance. Renew. Why wait for NYE? Im grabbing the moment and making more time for me. For my health, to go to the gym again and to spend time with those I love. Fact.

I used scalloped Bazzill and mounted it on white card.

I used an old sheet of scenic route and combined it with some new. I used a strip sheet (Sumner Scrap Strip 2) and cut out the word section. I munted this on some pattern strips and used scalloped scissors to cut in a fancy border at the top. This I mounted on to a square of Hampton kendall Circle Blue.

I rubed on a Hambly tree onto the blue spotted paper (Sumner Parker Road) and cut it out. I then used the circles from Sumner Willow Street to make my tree. I put some of the circles on foam tape for added volume. The puple bird was mounted onto one of these circles.

Letters come from Making Memories Funky Vintage Clears Alphabet. Buttons and bling come from Jennis magic silver tin (!).

Journalling went on Sumner Label Cardstock stickers.

A thoroughly busy page all about me. Sometimes it feels invigorating doing something different!!
