Lets talk storage - 2

Do you have notions? Those little doo dads and knick knacks that come in ever so handy once in a while?

In my case, zips, ribbon threaders, cottons, bakers twines, book binding tapes and tools, etc. All teeny tiny items, all colourful and bright, all very inspiring.

I store my notions on my inspiration desk in my room, pride of place as all these items give me endless ideas to make projects and designs.

My storage solution is an old fashioned, wooden milk bottle crate. I think I picked this one up in Jarrolds in Norwich. I love that it has a chalk slate on the side. Each little cubby hole houses a different treasure and round the handle I wrapped a heart made of silver bells that jingle if whacked in the correct manner.

(The hearts have become a re occurring theme in my room, watch out for another post about themes later.)

I know that Pottery Barn also do a great selection of fun wooden stroage, often seperated in to cubby holes, perfect for storing items and bottles.
