Thankful House

I always regret not getting the JB add ons and then when I get them I never use them. The Bird hanging mobile thing for example!

So, I had a look at the house idea on there this month and thought I could make it myself! So I have done something similar today.

I drew a square 5" x 4" and added a roof on top by drawing a triangle whose height was 2". I drew this on hardboard/cardboard and used it as a template to cut out two more.

I used the templates to cut out JB paper for the sides and some text paper I had left from Shimelles UKS kit for the roof.

I glued the paper on, used embellishmets and photos and stamped the word THANKFUL on three JB cards and added my own text.

Next I used some MM paper tape to stick the walls together to create a triangle.

I like my little house and made it at no extra cost for once! Ta-dah! I also think it would look cool if you brought the three triangle points together to form a pyramid roof.

Oh, I also used a rather embarassing photo as me as a child. I just love the seventies!
