Kissing!




This is the card I blogged about, the kissing effect.

Its dead simple but I think it looks great!

You need two stamps for this, the first needs to be a solid one, here I have used an oval that looks like an egg. Ink it in a light colour all over.

Next choose a second more ornate and detailed stamp, I choose a rose. Ink this in a darker colour than that used for the solid shape.

This is where the two stamps kiss. Stamp the ornate on to the solid stamp and pull it off. Your solid stamp will now effectively be double inked and you can see the pattern on it clearly.

Finally stamp on to your paper and the double stamp effect is created.

Hope this makes sense, will happilly do some as you go through photos if this will help anyone!



I used a selection of inks and tried them first on some scrap paper so wee which colours worked well with one another. I really like chalk inks as the lighter base colour but you need to make sure you allow plenty of time for the ink to dry!
