A Week of Thanks for all I Have and Hold Dear

I cant think of any pattern that I love to use more than polka dots. if I could I would add it to every project I made.

This little journal has been made using two gorgeous kits by Shimelle Laine Digitals @ Two Peas. Its packed with not only polka dots papers in many different flavours but apples too.

The paper kits are called

Autum Apples printed papers
Autumn Apples polka dot papers

There is a super little accessories kit available too, though I havent used this for the journal project.

Anyway, without further ado here is the journal.

The idea of the project is to spend just a few minutes every day during Thanksgiving week to record what you are thankful for.

Your journal can begin when you want: start with Thanksgiving, end with Thanksgiving, whatever you fancy really.

This book was created from scratch. I used some numberplate shaped chipboard pieces and cut them down to smaller, more manageable rectangles. Once covered in sticky back plastic with a wood veneer, these pieces formed my front and back pages. (The sticky back stuff came from a DIY shop)

Inside I included 7 pages on to which I can journal and some envelopes and pockets in to which I can hide tags and memorabilia.

Once these were in I stamped some very simple journal lines and added a tab and an apple token.

The days of the week came from a penned words kit - Autumn and the days of the week came from dates.
