Hurrah for a little non Christmas scrapping/crafting/Projects/making stuff.
This week I have been playing with This Year by Jen Martakis (Click HERE) available at Two Peas in a Bucket.
Its a super huge kit, there are all different types of papers including grids, plain, lines, patterns and huge amounts of elements and alphas. The alphas have a grid pattern on them and they are really cool.
So I made two projects....
Here is a little card entitled Hi. Designed for my SIL's birthday which is immediately after Christmas. It is hybrid. THe whole of the background has been made using PSE and then I have added just a few elements to pop it off the page.
My second is a personalised canvas bag. I have been thinking about this idea for ages. (There is a part two which is coming soon. I needed one more ingredient last night but was snowed in so couldnt quite make it happen!)
I wanted to make a design which I could print on to canvas or cotton and add to a bag. I knew that by sewing it on it would add to the durability. I think it is such a nice way to give present to a friend who is expecting. I wanted to gift some lovely fluffy cream towels, they seemed so plain on thier own. So I whipped up this little bag which I hope will make all the difference!
