Saturday stuff to share

I woke up early today and felt rather cheerful - unusual for me in the morning as although I can get up and quickly get ready and out, I cant normally hold a conversation with anyone until I have been up an hour or so!

Anyway the plan is to update my blog, create some stuff and then this afternoon we are going to buy a tumble dryer. Yipee!

I am sure half of the modern world already has or uses a tumble dryer. Not me! I have decided this year that I just cant face another year of willing my washing to dry on the line in the damp and then ending up putting it on the radiators in the house. So we are off to Comet this afternoon and I cant wait.

We have finished off all the decorating in the hall now and as a treat Rob has gone out for the morning to play golf. Our next project is to convert one of the spare rooms in to an art/craft room for me. To say I am excited is an understatement.

As such I have been trying to be good and not buy too much stuff. Aside from the fact I havent got the time to use it at the moment I also have nowhere to put it! I did however slip yesterday and have ordered the Mia and Prudence Craft Papaer collections which I knew I couldnt live without!

Anyway, all the frentic activity and the study I am supposed to be doing is why the blog hasnt been updated recently. So here are a few things I have been doing and playing with....

Finally finished Mary Annes project from the Gogo Getaway June last year. (Yeah I know I am slow! I still have Jane Deans mini book to complete too!) I decided to make this for my MIL as on both sides it has pctures of her Grandchildren.

Also I completed Fiona's second LO from her Getaway class kit. This was Pink Paislee papers and stamping on buttons.

Finally I still had some papers and embellishments left over so I made a card for my SIL's birthday in January.
